Persoonlijke primeur! First for me. I visited Lucca with great expectations and for some reason felt rather disappointed. Sure, the city within the walls has many nice old buildings, but it didn't have the vibe Sienna, or even San Gimignano, had. I think I saw it all in 2.5 hours. Luckily this cool Cayman GT4 made up for the one hour train ride. It looks like it's well-used on the track.

great find! i spent a week in lucca this summer and enjoyed it more than you did apparently... a few spots from there are still to come, i also saw a blue GT4 but didn't manage to take proper pics :(

Na een flinke roadtrip door Noord-Italië zijn wij gisteren in Lucca geweest. Ik had van te voren wat gezien en gelezen over Lucca en ik was wel enthousiast. Per toeval eindigde gisteren ook de Giro ‘d Italia in Lucca, vanuit Genua. Lucca heeft z’n charme en zoveel leuke straten en straatjes. Schitterende plaats. ‘s Avonds ook enorm lekker gegeten, voor een lachertje qua prijzen. Leuk om Lucca gezien te hebben in ieder geval!

Oh ja, qua spots viel het dan wel tegen, die mening deel ik wel 😛 Het scheelt dat ik niet voor de spots in Italië ben, maar om her en der spots mee te pakken is uiteraard wel altijd leuk. Vandaag een rustdag en morgen naar Cinque Terre 🥰 Zaterdag weer naar huis na roadtrip Noord-Italië.
